Morning Guys.
Now here a question for you..... How do I make £94.45 last until pay day on the 20th Dec? I need 3 Christmas presents and spends (no food).... and I would love to do it without going into my OD.
I have just told OH that I can't afford to take him to see Bath play rugby tomorrow night and now feel really guilty. But £30 is a lot of money!
IA, that is really bad... hopefully that will sort it out quickly!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Morning everyone.

I had to change to bacs last month - they said because I had over £50 waiting I couldn't have it sent to Paypal, it delayed the payment by about 10 days or so. I've only got £14 so far to come to me this month, but I've another £180 validated so I don't know when I'll get that. I'm also chasing £80 on 3 tickets so goodness knows when that will eventually start to track.
Well talk about in with one hand and out with the other.
The cheque for the car I sold cleared. I put the money I paid for it back in my savings account, I paid my tax bill, paid the balance of my holiday I'm going on next March, paid off the £137 I'd put on my CC for Christmas presents - and that's it!!! All gone!!
I suppose really I shouldn't be put in a situation where I could fritter any extra away, because I know I would do. The main point of it all was to make enough to pay the tax bill, so the other bits were a bonus I guess."Stay Wonky":D

Morning all,
Not much to report here... but I have decided to return some of the clothes I brought at the weekend and trade them for new jeans.. instead of leaving them in the walldrobe and never wearing them cause to be honest the top I brought was a little big plus the dress I brought is itchy so instead of spending even more money on jeans I will return them and swap em!!! I have to admit this is so unlike me normally I would have kept them and then given them away!!!!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
Well done Jet, that's the MSE spirit :T
I'm feeling irritated today. We're owed so much money, I mean a stupid amount but I can't get anyone to pay us. Neither hubby or I have been paid since August, the bloody record company are tight @rses they really are, even down to stupid things like we had no laminates on the last tour because they were too expensive... ummm £8
They always do pay us, but it's chase chase chase, then we get a big cheque in one go, which is lovely but awful for budgetting. Now I'm at the point of taking more and more money out of savings to cover bills and rent.
On top of that, I'm owed £6,000 in company cheques, I've got the accountant to pay and the corporation tax plus the VAT, none of whom will wait.
Then I have this stupid ebay issue I keep banging on about but I need to sell the equipment we aren't using to pay off the corporation tax, that was always the plan.
Sometimes I wish we both had 9/5 jobs with a pay cheque each month, I do love my job but this part sucks to high heaven. I have to budget 4 to 5 months at a time because that's about as often as the money comes in.
Sorry for the rant.:A
