Markets - Minor Correction? (Edit: Question Answered)

If you had of waited until Friday you would of had the opportunity to buy them at an even lower cost.0

Updated my spreadsheet and our family net worth is 'only' down 4% compared to the end of last month and still higher than a couple of months ago.
I posted the paperwork to transfer the Cash JISAs back into S&S choosing AJ Bell this time (one of the accounts is big enough for their capped £20 pa JISA fee on ETFs). It would have been cheaper with Jarvis X-O but I prefer being with a bigger player and it's convenient as we use AJ Bell for the capped £30 pa LISAs.
If markets keep falling next week I will continue tilting more of our money into equities. With uncertainty where the bottom might be its hard to judge how much firepower to hold back.

At the current time you a buyer in a market in which prices are overwhelmingly red. Sellers exceed buyers. Unusual activity doesn't go unnoticed. Market makers make their money on the spread (or indeed lose it) if they are caught with lines of stock themselves.

I am of the hold forever type when it comes to equities. This forum helped teach that to me. I don’t care about these falls. What I do care about is the truth and not being swayed by group think or misinformation. That’s presented an interesting challenge when trying to learn about Covid-19. It seems near impossible to get complete, truthful data from ANY source. My conclusions so far are that it is quite nasty, the response from a lot of countries has been incompetent and we are all ready in a pandemic. However strong containment has been proven to work (Macau) and after the Cobra meeting on Monday in the UK expect measures taken like sports events and festivals cancelled.
The key thing that I see is that in hot countries like Vietnam and Malaysia this virus is not spreading like it is in Europe and Japan. In fact these “should” be some of the hot spots that should have lots of cases now, yet they don’t. I take this as solid evidence Covid-19 struggles in the heat (like other coronaviruses) and when summer comes it is going to make things a lot easier. With a vaccine perhaps a year away strong containment plus hot weather is what we need.2 -

Children don't seem to suffer, but are carriers.
You can catch it from surface contact, tables, ATM machines, cash.
It's not known if it's seasonal.
Masks don't really work, can increase infection rate if mask is wet.
No vaccine this year.
