I've just got my Eon bill and it says that I am already on the cheapest tariff Fix Online Exclusive v14 for my electricity but I could save £15 by switching my gas to Fix Online v36 .
Does that mean I can have 2 different tariffs, Fix Online Exclusive v14 for my electricity and Fix Online v36 for my gas?
1 So you are saying that Eon have advised you of a cheaper tariff (Fix Online Exclusive v36) even though they cannot sell it to you if you contact them?

2 That's very nice of them. Do they indicate where you can obtain it?

3 As I understand it, the Eon Fix Online Exclusive v36 tariff is only available as a Dual Fuel or electricity-only tariff, so I don't think you can get it for gas only.

4 Check the MSE Cheap Energy Club (other comparison sites where this tariff may be offered are available) and it will indicate if you can apply for just gas or not.
    1 yes
    2 no
3 According to MSE CEC correct
4 does not offer that tariff for gas only
I only started my present tariff in November 2019, it will cost me £60 to leave it

    How very odd.

I also thought the Eon Fix Online Exclusive v36 tariff was only available to new customers.

I might be wrong on that, but the tariff does not appear for me at all on the MSE Cheap Energy Club as soon as I put Eon down as the current supplier.
It is. People are getting mixed up with the similar tariff names.
OP is on 'Fix Online Exclusive V14' because presumably they joined on that one, but EON are suggesting they would be better off with 'Fix Online V36' which is their current best offering to existing customers.
As it happens, I checked at the end of last week the and the current Exclusive tariff was on V30 and came in £100 cheaper PA for projected usage than V36, which shows what they think of existing customers.

(I tried applying for the exclusive v8 through Uswitch toward the end of last year, playing dumb and leaving the 'current supplier' as the default British Gas SVT so it would show me the Eon tariff, but after a week or so I got an email telling me "No" So I switched to Fix Online V18 which at the time was better than the tariff I had.)
As for @st999, there are no exit fees on the SVT, just saying...

Spot on Raxiel. Many thanks for posting.

I'm on Eon's Fix Online Exclusive v14 as well and I got the same on my bill that I would be cheaper for my gas on Eon's Fix Online v36 .
Could the Eon rep explain this?

Hello Helen28 and hope my post above in reply to st999 explains.
The Could You Pay Less message you're seeing means if you were to switch to Fix Online Dual Fuel v36, we estimate you'll make savings on your gas whilst the cost of electricity will stay the same. This is based on the details included within the message remaining the same too.
Hope this explains Helen28. Please let me know if you need any more details as happy to help.
