Holiday company asking for £££

  • Then you don't need anyone's advice.  You know you owe it and you'll pay it when you see fit and are given the information with which to pay.

The thing I'd question is why are they asking for £750 more when you owe them £700?
  • Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I’m not sure about the rogue £50, once I get in touch with them I’ll find out. This wasn’t my error so I’m hoping there’s no charges to pay etc.
  • They tried taking payment, but it didn’t go through as I lost my card out there.
Why not contact your card issuer and explain what happened and see if they can authorise the failed payment and take it from the newly issued card.
They will have a record of the failed payment request so it may be a simple enough job for them to do.
