I went on the Beehive Money website (since Nottingham BS are launching a new RS) and seems to be one launching soon from Beehive too.  They have a page for it but the rate is not decided yet, and can't be applied for yet either, but has a facility to enter your name and email address to get a reminder when they do make it available:

    https://www.beehivemoney.co.uk/savings/regular-saver/

I guess it's launching soon as well since that page has some details on it including the fact it will mature on 30th September 2024, so I imagine it will be out in the next week or two.

I found it and opened it by logging on to my Beehive account, new products show there.
Cool I've opened one now too from the app, they must've added it on after I went to bed since it wasn't there at the time of my post :)
  • I think I'll hold fire anyway on Beehive for now. I have the June 23 iteration which I have paused funding at least until my Santander Edge saver is full.
However the T&Cs say 'Regular saver products are limited to one per customer.'
Do you think they mean one per issue or only one active per customer at any time? Another woolly statement.

So I got another email from Monmouthshire this morning...

Thank you for registering with our online 'My Accounts' service.

    Registration Approaching Expiry

Following your request to register for the My Accounts online system, we sent you an Activation Code by post which is needed the first time you log into the system. According to our records 20 days have passed since we issued the Activation Code and it has not yet been entered. You only have 8 days left to use it. If you don’t use it within the short time remaining, it will expire and your application to use our My Accounts online system will be suspended.

If you allow your activation key to expire but wish to proceed with your registration, you will only be able to do this by visiting the ‘Forgotten your security details’. This is located in the information bar on the left-hand side of the Registration or Login pages and is where you will need to enter the User ID (as quoted in our letter), and follow the instructions on each page. We will send you a replacement Activation Key by post. Please do not attempt to login before you have received this letter.

If you need any help or if you cannot trace your User ID, the please contact our dedicated Helpline on xxxxx xxxxxx.

    Many Thanks

    I haven't added those xxx - they're in the email! :o

they literally don't mention Monmouthshire anywhere in the content, or give me the phone number to ring - I have it on one of the letters, but i'm not going to bother doing that as i've long given up on wanting to fund the account - so i've filled out their online form asking for the account to be closed.

whatever the future holds, I won't be wasting any time opening accounts with them again. :)

If it helps, I got the same message so I did ring yesterday - waited about 3 minutes and got through to a very helpful lady who promised to send the activation code by 1st class post.

Arrived this morning, and online now up and running.
  • Has anyone who already holds a regular saver with beehive successfully applied for the new regular saver please? Thanks

Has anyone who already holds a regular saver with beehive successfully applied for the new regular saver please? Thanks
No because they are very strict in that you can only have one regular saver (of whatever issue) at a time, and can't close early.

So anyone who already holds one won't be able to apply or open this new one.

I just did and put in £10. It's specifically labeled as 'UK Savings Week RS', so it's likely a completely separate thing.

Yep I've got both, both showing separately in the app.
  • Has anyone who already holds a regular saver with beehive successfully applied for the new regular saver please? Thanks
Yes, I have Home Starter regular Saver 2 and successfully opened the new Regular Saver. This is despite them saying only one regular saver can be held. If you select fixed rate accounts when logged in, then select the 6% RS, it will say if you are eligible to open it.
