I don't see anything on the linked page saying you can't have 2 if you have 1 and certainly I've had both for some months now!badger09 said:

I asked the Coventry BS if you could have two RS's of different issues and they said no.It may be that their computer system doesn't prevent the opening of two but it's a slight risk that they might enforce the terms and close one down. Terms say "This is a limited issue account and you can only have one version of a Regular Saver at a time".

Hopefully this has now been discussed to death.

Is it really worth the cost of postage eroding what you've earnt or do you have prepaid envelopes?Ken68 said:Same here, Hattie , re Loughborough. Rang them the other day for missing t and c's, they confirm 3% and variable. I send in the passbook every so often. Fingers and legs crossed.
Same opinion here. Unless it is for withdrawal puposes, I can not see the good reason for sending the passbok just to see the balance. P&P cost, your time and let alone the money to be made is tiny.

Is the Coventry RS that matures in Sept definitely Issue 1? I have that one but can't work out if mine is Issue 1 or 2? Cannot get online access. It paid 2.5% originally.adindas said:P3 said:Can I have Coventry BS RS issue 2? I already got issue 1Yes. I just did it a few minutes ago (I already have issue 1, will mature in September). And Confirmed it is already opened. You could apply online from here

I Just checked my documentation. it said. "Regular Saver - Annual", Originally paying 2.50% But dropped to 1.85% since 6 May this year. I do not remember coventry ever had a regular saver called "Coventry Regular Saver 1". The current issue is i2, so presumably the one I have is Issue 1. The point here is that they allow you to run two different issues of RSAs at the same time.granta said:

It was the same with the Yorkshire Building Society. They had the Regular Saver, then they had Issue 2. However, when they launched Issue 2 (and Issue 3 after that), they still referred to the original one as Regular Saver. Although with them, you could hold one of each issue.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2

It was a matter of routine for me to do monthly checks to confirm that SOs had worked OK (they always have, so it's a bit belt and braces). Bus pass visit to the local Virgin store and a phone call to the Nottingham, the only ones that I have that I can't check online. I've suspended those actions since the lockdown but wouldn't consider checking by post.adindas said:Wheres_My_Cashback said:
