Does anyone know if Halifax/lloyds are likely to shift their various monthly saver rates soon?  With interest rates on 1 year fixes starting to exceed the currently monthly saver rates, I'd imagine it's on the cards (?)
Hope so. Well one thing's for certain we'll find out here first second.

Interest rates are variable… isn’t that a typo on their sheet?

Yeah must be, there sheet has disappeared in the last month or so when their fix rates went down and I assume they didn't want to advertise it, they have since gone back up#

Anyone know who has the best rate on a regular saver that you don't bank with and also has an app?

Looking down this list, I'd say it's probably the Halifax Regular Saver @ 5.50% - they have an app and you don't need to hold their current account.

I don't have the account myself, but assume it would be Halifax @ 5.50% as it makes no mention of requiring a current account with them.

Principality have on-line access and also pay 5.5%. I find them pretty good.

That was my thinking, but all of my attempts to open the RS online, over a couple of weeks, resulted in an error and failure to open the RS account.

I ended up opening a current account online. Once that was done I opened the RS through the app.

    Go figure...
