Just had this from the Principality...
Hello Tivo_Lad,
Thank you for choosing to save with us
You recently applied to open a Regular Saver Bond with an interest rate of 5.50% Gross (Issue 33). However, this product was not available at the time you tried to open the account and has officially launched today,15 June 2023.
What does this mean for you?
As the Regular Saver Bond (Issue 33) wasn't available at the time you opened the account, we were unable to add any funds to this account until today. The good news is that from today, you can add funds and start earning 5.50% interest. As this is a one year regular saver product, your account will mature one year from the original account opening date.
Please take a look at the Regular Saver Bond Issue 33 Account Terms and Summary Box for full product information.

I don’t remember having to choose PBS as the payee name and set as a business as opposed to personal, but doing so seemed to make confirmation of payee happy. Hopefully I’ve not sent money to a rogue account.🫣TiVo_Lad said:Just had this from the Principality...Hello Tivo_Lad,

Online now (Edit: Sort of)
Well, actually, issue 33 is listed, however, the link still goes to 32 ????
I've found when opening previous issues that the link is always the last thing to be updated, normally updating 30-60 mins after the website shows the new issue with interest rate so this is a normal occurrence and has done this for at least the last 5 issues from my experience.

I don't know why it's been removed from moneyfacts though, either it's about to become NLA, moneyfacts are having technical issues or it's about to be moved to the "existing customer" section on moneyfacts like the Bath BS 16-25 regular saver was last week (it gave me one heck of a fright when I didn't see it on moneyfacts since I will be eligible to open it from the end of this month).1 -

My First Direct RS matures today. They advised that the account may disappear but it hasn’t. Interest has been credited and the rate has dropped to 1.35%. Still called ‘Regular Saver’ though I I can’t move money. I take it that I just need to wait a couple of days now before I can access the cash and open a new RS?0

For those who opened the Nationwide Start to Save v2 last year, today is the anniversary and you should have received interest in your account.13
