Looking down this list, I'd say it's probably the Halifax Regular Saver @ 5.50% - they have an app and you don't need to hold their current account.

That was my thinking, but all of my attempts to open the RS online, over a couple of weeks, resulted in an error and failure to open the RS account.

I ended up opening a current account online. Once that was done I opened the RS through the app.

Go figure... 

It’s been that long, so not sure, did that app work when you weren’t a customer registered for online / app use? Had the reward accounts before the r/s but sure I needed to register as online back then.

My Principality Christmas 2023 saver matures in April 2024. I think it was opened about 3 months or so after it was NLA using your URL tweaking method, and it's still happily accepting funding. 

This is why I enjoy this forum so much. Buried 800+ pages deep in a thread is this little gem of a find. It may have not worked out for some on this occasion, but it may do in the future and it certainly has in the past.

Plenty more out there to find; we just don't know them yet.

I've just looked and the debit card deposit option is still there for my Rainy Day Saver, but not for my Regular Saver.

I've already paid into the Regular saver this month. Maybe on the new look website the option to pay in disappears until next month if you're not eligible to make another payment at the moment?

Just an idea ..... 

Perhaps - although it still displays the pay by bank option. We’ll see on the 1st of the month I guess, hoping it comes back! Anyone not maxed out their monthly allowance? If so, do you have the option please?

No idea, I only started using it after I'd opened the current account.

Is this for Natwest/RBS double roundups?  I use NS&I saver for this, they don't seem to mind how many £1.01 deposits per day you make.  The rate is rubbish (2.85%) but withdrawals are unlimited so no need to keep much cash in this account.

Yeah it is... I have a few different places per Nw and RBS to deposit, I don't like to do too much at one place with risk of losing access, but surely as a regular saver, depositing every other day just £1.01 they can't complain as its regular, right?

I also try not to withdraw the money, which maybe a silly thing as like you say the rate is quite low compared to other places like 3.85% YBS rainyday saver (2 withdraws a year) (that takes debit card deposits) but just think if money keeps going in and out of a savings account that will trigger something too, think there something in some of the T&Cs (might not be NS&I but others) saying don't use savings accounts like a current account. With money going in and out all the time.

Also with NS&I, I don't want them to start cracking down and risk losing the premium bonds I have with them as its a bit of fun and something to look forward to at the beginning of the month. (But to be fair I do deposit 2x £1.01 from RBS and 2x £1.01 from NW when I do get on every few days or so, and have not had any back lash yet
