On my statements, the interest rates are described as follows:

    £0-£1,000 3.00% gross p.a.
    £1,001-£99,999,999,999 0.01% gross p.a.

There seems to be no rate advertised for balances between £1,000.01-£1,000.99.

Post 5 of this thread states:
    Interest rate:
    3.04% gross p.a. variable up to £1,000 then 0.01% above £1,000.

Can anyone confirm what the rate is on balances above £1,000 but below £1,001?

Even if it was 100% it's hardly worth worrying about but, for the record, anything above £1000 earns  0.01%

End of an era. Account closed, back to mediocre savings rates. I think I might take advantage of the dip in Fund prices.

As well as lots of mediocre ones I've still got some ok ones running.  These are the ones over 2%:

    NatWest 3%
    RbS 3%
    Cambridge 3% and 5%
    Skipton 3.5%

I've got stacks at 2% and under. Hoping for some news, this week, on Nationwide % increase and also Buckinghamshire.

It took them 6 weeks to pass on December's rate rise and even then it was only on certain accounts but did include their Regular Saver though, I guess. Do you think a further increase would be coming so soon ? They've certainly come under fire in the press for the relative lack of action, recently.
