Huh? I'm not seeing any accounts at YBS that are paying 0.65% or 0.75% Is this something they are offering to people on maturity?fonesaver said:

And the successor to the Loyalty Saver (although open to anyone) is surely the rather poor "Make Me A Saver" paying 1% on £150 a month.0 -
It was 0.65% in the letter I received this morning. Where/how did they announce the 0.75%?fonesaver said:

At 0.75% it could be a nice instant access saver for unlimited withdrawals, provided the 0.75% is paid on £1+.
It's almost certainly only available to people who held the loyalty RSNick_C said:

Hardly a successor as it's already been available before the first maturity date of the loyalty saver, it's open to everybody, and you can't get more than £150 a month into it.Nick_C said:

not sure if anyone else had this experience when trying to open a new tsb regular saver after the old one matured the application seems to go through ok but i never got any bank account /sort code confirmed and it didn't appear in my online banking after a couple of days
when i rang tsb after a lengthy call centre wait was told they would only open the regular saver if i went into a branch with proof of id/address
this is despite being an existing customer with live current accounts, just a heads up in case it happens to anyone else
given i've no branch locally and it's only £125/month you can pay in I'll not bother0 -
After they changed their systems away from Lloyds I believe my applications failed at the final stages for two years running, resulting in the account being opened but never appearing in my Internet banking and with no details provided. They won't/can't fix it over the phone so, as you've discovered, a branch visit is necessary.donglemouse said:not sure if anyone else had this experience when trying to open a new tsb regular saver after the old one matured the application seems to go through ok but i never got any bank account /sort code confirmed and it didn't appear in my online banking after a couple of days

However, I successfully opened one last year online. Shame to hear that might have been a fluke, based on your experience.0 -
Since you quoted 0.65% I assumed you were offered this account. The rate for existing account holders is 0.75% from 1st Feb.Nick_C said:

I was trying to find the account that Daliah and fonesaver had referred to.fonesaver said:

My YBS RS matures on 2 March. YBS phoned me last week to alert me to the maturity, and tell me about the "Make me a Saver" which I had already opened a couple of weeks ago. The best rate they offered me over the phone for my maturing funds was 0.6%, but I'm already getting that on an "Internet Saver Plus Issue 2" which I opened in May 2020.
Seems YBS didn't correctly advise me of their best account.
Personally, I'm not worried, as I have a flexible ISA with Skipton which pays BOEBR + 0.35% (no longer available), but other people with YBS should be aware of the "Six Access Saver"0 -
Mine matures Feb 20. I also had had a call from YBS last week, a female asking me whether I had decided which of the maturity options they had offered I wanted. At the time, I had not received any maturity options (only got a letter yesterday), and she wasn't going to tell me what they were, nor would she tell me what their best rate would be. She also didn't know that I already had the "Make me a Saver" account. Not sure what the purpose of her call was - all in all it was a bit of a car crash call.Nick_C said:

I am not convinced that they will roll the RS over into a 0.75% account but will find out in a couple of weeks whether the YBS letter or @fonesaver were correct.1 -
I opened my Flex Regular Saver in November 2021 and have funded it with the max £200 per month. The interest rate has gone up from 2.00% to 2.50%. That appears to be contrary to the email.Section62 said:Email from Nationwide - the rate on the Flex Regular Saver is being increased from 2% to 2.5% from 1st February (this does apply to accounts already opened and funded)Edit: Link to notice1 -
This all looks fine and the email is consistent with the notice, so I am not sure what you are saying is contrary.Thomas_Crown said:

My Nationwide account online is also showing the rate as 2.50%2
