Did anyone else who is an existing Skipton customer get an early access email about their new Regular Saver? I just opened it - 3.5% (!) for 12 months, max £250 deposit p/m, no withdrawals. It's called Online Existing Member Regular Saver - worth grabbing and sticking £1 in it if you're already with Skipton! And maybe worth opening a savings account to become a member with them if not....

Received the email five minutes ago, opened and filled then came here to mention it.

Need to have had an account on or before August 16th.
Ah thank you - missed that part about Aug 16th!
  • Skipton:  I obtained the link from Skipton Head Office by Facebook conversation in less than a minute (which was all the time it took them to manually check my eligibility), then opened and funded the account by debit card within another two minutes.  An extremely slick process to open a highly attractive account.
    Thanks James, great to hear!

I'm looking at your FB page now. How do I get the link (or can you put it on here?)

Hi there, if you can send us a private message on Facebook we can check your eligibility and forward the link. Just let me know if you have any issues with this.

Once on our Facebook page you should see a little white speech bubble on a blue banner, with the words 'send message'. Can you see this option?

Do Skipton start calculating interest immediately on money being deposited to an account or are their differences depending on if you pay by debit card, standing order etc.
