I'd say the date you give instructions based on previous maturity experience; where the product I selected when I gave my instructions had been withdrawn by the time my RS actually matured, but they still opened the NLA product at the rate it was when I gave the instructions and they didn't open the lower rated replacement.Kim_13 said:Principality maturity letters have landed. They say they will give you the rate applicable on the day you apply, but does anyone know if that is taken to be the date you give your instructions or the date the account actually matures?4 -
Does the West Brom RS Issue 7 accept 13th deposit?I thought by reading the terms it didnt and max balance was 3k, but a maturity letter i received today seems to indicate different0

They returned my 13th - and sent me a letter(!) explaining why they had done so.Aidanmc said:Does the West Brom RS Issue 7 accept 13th deposit?I thought by reading the terms it didnt and max balance was 3k, but a maturity letter i received today seems to indicate different5 -
Chorley Building Society
I received a RS (31.12.2024) maturity letter today. It offered me a new RS on maturity ending 31.12.2025.
It included:Following feedback from our Members, we have increased the maximum monthly subscription, into our Regular Saver accounts to £400 per calender month.
This isn't on their website for the current Regular Saver (30.11.2025) so this change may only come into effect from the 31.12.2025 version12 -
Was it an accident or testing West Brom's implementation of their t&c? My last deposit was on 1st November, just followed 3k limit rule.flaneurs_lobster said:

Saffron BS to launch a Ware Regular Saver at 4.75%.
Account lasts 3 years, allows unlimited withdrawals and allows deposits of up to £250/mth.
Currently it appears the account shall be branch opening only but once opened the account can be managed online/branch/post/phone.
EDIT:
For clarity account can only be opened in their Ware Branch.5 -
5 min walk from my house but 4.75% is too low.Bridlington1 said:Saffron BS to launch a Ware Regular Saver at 4.75%.

Neither, I don't bother checking the t&c nor do I usually have a note on my RS spreadsheet about "the 13th". Just whack it in there and see if it sticks.allegro120 said:

Just to clarify it appears this can only be opened in the specific Ware Branch. Not any of the other half dozen branches. That’s an unusual development. Suggests you couldn’t, for example, open it at the Head Office! How strange.Bridlington1 said:Saffron BS to launch a Ware Regular Saver at 4.75%.

Sorry, I don’t recall, do Chorley allow you to hold different issues of their Regular Saver at the same time?0
