Yep, as back up only with minimal £1 monthly deposits for if/when other accounts held elsewhere start to drop below 1%. Will probably take another 2 Al Rayan reductions before they go below 1% so until then....

Have you received an email reply from them?  I made an application for the Monmouth RS & it said that they would be in touch, however I've not received anything by email yet...

How long did it take to show in your account?  Wish you could apply while logged into account

Checked with them earlier and they told me it won't show until I have sent back the signature specimen form, however deposits only can still be made.

AFAIK, MON BS do NOT send out e-mail confirmations, only the posted paperwork will confirm the account and then they'll need you to send back a signature specimen...see my post above.

I have sent them a secure message to enquire about needing checks as I have two open accounts already with them no need for checks
