On a slightly technical issue.    I've not been on the forum for quite a long time and since it changed.     How do you find Old Threads you previously had been following.

I've printed some screenshots to help you.

On the main screen click on the figure in the circle

Now you will see 4 icons
    The bell is for notifications
The envelope is for private messages
The third icon is for bookmarks
    Click on the bookmark icon

Now you will see all of your bookmarks

In addition you can click on the bell and look for an icon I call the 3 spoons  - if you click on that you can will be able to set up your notification preferences.

To set up preferences you need to look at your mobile phone in landscape mode

    Hope this helps

Virgin Money has just released a new Regular E-Saver (18th issue).  This pays 1.00% fixed, and looks much the same as the 17th issue, other than dates being pushed back two months.
Has anyone been tempted by these 1% offerings?
Nope, not once rates dropped below 2% as I can still make more in an easy access or  9-12 month fixed rate account, without any other tie ins like compulsory current accounts.

Yep, as back up only with minimal £1 monthly deposits for if/when other accounts held elsewhere start to drop below 1%. Will probably take another 2 Al Rayan reductions before they go below 1% so until then....

    Thanks, opened!
Only opened the £1000pm Saver Plus Issue 3 yesterday at 1.2%, just in time, as it now looks to have been withdrawn.

Have you received an email reply from them?  I made an application for the Monmouth RS & it said that they would be in touch, however I've not received anything by email yet...

How long did it take to show in your account?  Wish you could apply while logged into account

Interesting to see somebody buck the trend and issue rates above the rest, hopefully others will take note and do likewise!! Thanks for heads up, application away.
