Ok so they replied back, and sent a picture of the signage.
I did exactly what was previously advised, I listed them the other PCNs that were not listed and they came back with this -
I hadn't had anything else from them until just now -

Does this mean they're definitely still proceeding with the course case I take it ?

    ...... at the moment .....
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's just waffle, but yes, the case will likely go ahead to court.   And we win them!

The other good thing is, if all the PCNs relate to you and the same car park/facts (but on different dates) then you WANT them to issue a claim for one PCN alone!  That leaves all the rest up the creek without a paddle, due to cause of action estoppel.

Yes all other PCNs are for the exact same car/location as you state, so that is good news.

    And thank you !

So going forward I just wait to get a letter for court proceedings? No more responding to them?

You dont have to respond if you dont want to. You wont get anything meaningful from them
You could warn them that, should their client come to them with further PCNs, as officers of the court they are prohibited from filing any claims, regardless of the clients instructions, as they are fullya ware their client must advance their full claim in one go. If they do so anyway, you will complain to the SRA that they are failing to meet their first obligation - to the court.

Thanks for the advice, sent it over to them.

They seem to be a bit over the place with this as I got a letter today with a completely different reference number so this must be the other PCNs coming through, so as you guys have been saying they haven't brought all the claims to me at once and are now drip feeding them - all from the same location and same car

That's a debt collector letter not a LBC so no need to respond.

Let them file separate claims because that shoots all the subsequent ones out of the water, assuming the Judge agrees that you have a defence to the first one (and we see 99% wins here) and that the doctrine of cause of action estoppel applies.

My suggestion of the letter is it sets up Gladstones for a SRA complaint.
