My wife can spot bill-padding at 300 metres on a foggy night. As someone says, you can have a go at your CC provider but at only £30 it was a fairly cheap lesson learned about doing what posts above say and asking for a closing invoice which draws a line under your stay.1

It turns out that the cleaners supervisor wedges open the doors of departed guests so the cleaners know they have to change the bedding etc in those rooms.0
