Pumping water out of garden

We have about a foot of standing water on our lawn which is about 2m lower than our house / patio and therefore mains drain. We want to try and pump it off but what’s the best way? It’s not deep enough to use a submersible pump (I don’t think) and the water will be full of mud and silt. Any ideas or advice? Thanks in advance x
