Transfer Smithson inside an ISA wrapper?

Does anyone know if Smithson allow a holding with them to be held inside an ISA wrapper?  If possible I would like to sell-off my Smithson holding at the end of March to crystalise the CGT liability, let them hold the cash for a few days and then re-buy it back within next years ISA allowance.

No reason that I'm aware of for this to be an issue - does your chosen S&S ISA provider list Smithson within its offered range of investments?

If you are referring to a holding "with them", presumably you mean their share plan? The one managed by Link Market Services? Why not reinvest in a S&S ISA offering investments from other providers?

Just more convienient to keep the holding with them if possible, has been held since the original IPO.

Can you not 'Bed & ISA' the funds doing the transaction in a single go?  If you do this before the end of this tax year then you will be able to add to the ISA in the next tax year.

Nothing left in this years ISA so would need to sell before the end of the tax year to use this years CGT allowance but not put into the ISA until after april 6th.
