Thanks, no home delivery orders for me then

MysteryMe, I had an order delivered today and was a courier company I haven’t come across before - XDP express. (Was a plastic grow house which I think they classed as a “large item delivery”). Don’t know if that helps at all?MysteryMe said:Thanks, no home delivery orders for me then

I had a delivery of a small wooden Aldi greenhouse today from XDP. I was able to email them last night to ask them to leave the parcel round the back of the house as I wouldn't be in and that's what they did.
Quite impressed as previous Aldi deliveries haven't been very good.1 -
Oh right, thanks for that. Maybe they kicked Hermes into touch and now using XDP.2

I live in Henley on Thames and items I order online from Aldi get delivered by Hermes.most of the items have been opened I don’t like Hermes at all1

I ordered a mini greenhouse and some wire trellis stuff at the same time and XDP delivered the greenhouse, Hermes delivered the trellis.1

Trying to get a refund on the mini greenhouse, it's rubbish. The wooden frame seems to be made from balsa wood and is warped and split. I'm sure it will blow away!
Also, I noticed in Aldi this evening it's cheaper in the store.0 -
How fortunate you are. I recently ordered that very small wooden Aldi greenhouse but mine has disappeared into the ether. Or rather, according to XDP, has been delivered. Except it hasn't - neither to my house nor to any of my (rural) neighbours sharing my postcode. I intend to demand a refund since these Invisible But Signed For In Someone Else's Name deliveries appear to be a speciality of XDP. I wonder if anyone has had any success attempting similarly?camelot1001 said:I had a delivery of a small wooden Aldi greenhouse today from XDP.
