Sounds like you might have a dead hard drive

So you managed to boot from a windows10 usb (or dvd) and when you told it to install to the disk you got an error?magoogy said:nope still getting disk read error

So from 4:33 to 5:17pm you did what? What did you do? Just under an hour is very short to do stuff as a noobemagoogy said:nope still getting disk read error
, and most people do not babysit the machine too??
Is there data on the disk you want to keep? If so then a bootable linux mint might be able to access the disk? From a bootable linux disk or usb you could run a smart test. The smart test is not foolproof but it usually give indication of issues.
If you dont want the data, just try and re-install windows. either just install windows over the existing files, or wipe the disk and do a full new installation0 -
It is clearly not the 7078, which is from 2005 and looks like this; http:// www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Overview/EN/Notebook/G220/Wireless%20-AM-%20%20Mobile%20Notebook%20Computer but perhaps an Advent Modena M200.

which is in fact a Shuttle A15IM.
It's a piece of junk, Here is why;

But if the HDD has failed. just pop a cheap SSD within. Perhaps £17.0 -

you will need to go into your BIOS to change the boot order to make the USB the first to boot. Then you should be able to boot into the windows 10 media creator and reinstall windows.0

So its gone into the BIOS and "Boot selection popup has been selected" Did you select this? Its either a corrupted BIOS (you'll need to reset the CMOS? have to find the CMOS batter?) or use F2 and change the boot order in the BIOS.magoogy said: it just kept going to the screen showing error
