Vodafone Amazon offer Credit Check Issue

I attempted to apply for the vodafone fibre broadband £120 amazon offer yesterday using the link posted on this site.
At the last stage of the process i was informed that i have failed the credit check validation even though my credit file is good.
I called Vodafone who said asked if i tried to apply directly on the vodafone site or through a third party.  I mentioned the Amazon offer and they said this issue has been happening a lot with people trying to get that offer.  They said there was no record of a failed credit check on their system for me. They mentioned its to do with coming in through the third party site to vodafone. Not sure how accurate this is.
They mentioned i could try again with them on the phone, but if i do this then i guess i will not be getting the £120 amazon voucher (term mention you must sign up online) which is why i am going for this deal.
Has anyone been able to successfully follow the £120 amazon link and sign up with Vodafone in the last 24hrs?
I might try the cashback approach later this evening and see if that works, the amount for this is less but its better than nothing.

Try clearing cookies .

Using a different browser turn off AV .

I did this.  I tried it once on chrome, and twice on firefox.  Each time i cleared cache and cookies and got the same issue with credit check failure. 
Bit apprehensive to turn off the AV, how could this impact the application process?
