I didn't say the term NTO was specifically mentioned in the CoP because it doesn't need to be. There is a ban on 'impersonating authority'.
Also, more importantly, read the new Draft Code of Practice and quote the Annex from the Government about banned words.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, because he/she couldn't use a pdf to adjust and/or top and tail. Certainly not without a lot of faffing about.harmonicapapa said:@Coupon-mad are you still suggesting people send a Word Version of the draft order to the Judge? I am going to have my hearing this week. Is there a guide anywhere about how to conduct yourself during video hearings. What do I call the judge? How will it work? If I win, what should I do to claim for my time and expenses?

As well as the advice provided by @Umkomaas you could read the telephone hearings thread: -

As well as the excellent advice above , one resource you are missing out on is the court reports in recently concluded court claim hearings
No matter what we tell you , we are not people who have been through it , except for a handful like coupon mad , beamerguy and any lawyers etc.. your best resource us the victims who reported their dealings in the matter , especially since march 2020

Well, Another One Bites the Dust!!
My hearing was this morning and District Judge Barcello from Pontypridd County Court dismissed the case on the grounds of failure to follow POFA. Specifically failure to pursue me as the Hirer of the vehicle. It was all done and dusted in about 25 minutes. We didn't even get into the finer arguments of my defence. And, he awarded me £200 for costs as he believed the claim should never have reached the hearing process as Gladstones and Smart Parking should have been aware their adherence to POFA would not stand up to scrutiny.
The Solicitor who attended was left looking very embarrassed and the Judge called it a 'Car Crash' of a hearing.
Obviously, the support from this forum has been incredible and I thank you all for dedicating so much of your time to support all of us standing up the the parking firms. Thank you all so much!!! you are wonderful
