Hi Maniak, I wrote the following.
You where tasked to deliever my parcel and you have a duty of care under the CRA to take reasonable skill and care to deliver that parcel. Your negligence resulted in the parcel not being delivered. It’s also notable that negligence additionally lost the parcel twice on its journey. I have also just learnt that on your website you inform that you do not deliver to PO boxes. My addressee was a PO Box and you were also negligent in taking the order to deliver the parcel, you should have had a system in place to stop such orders.
As always I would like my money back, but if I dont get it, it's not the end of the world. But the wider issue is me and many many others being ripped of by a company making large profits, top people at the company making huge amounts of money whilst acting like robbers.0 -
That's not a letter before action. A basic LBA would need to include a summary of the issue, how and why they are in breach with reference to any relevant legislation, the remedies you are seeking, whether you are willing to engage in ADR to resolve the matter and a deadline to respond by - 14 days is reasonable. Not particularly helpful that you made reference to the PO issue because you've just handed one line of defence that they may not have picked up on if you were to issue a claim. Anyway, you could resend a proper LBA but that's up to you.0

The truth is their already laughing, at everyone who they have ripped off. I'm in a very very weak position whatever I do. How can I make a claim than costs more than what I'm claiming. It's a great business strategy that offers a service, takes your money and then fails to deliver the service and there's nothing the customer can do. If this spreads the word, it will be worth every penny for the people who benefit from it
Additionally I'll take my service else where, if they had of provided a reasonable service they would have made more money from me in a service that does what its said it does. Whose laughing now.

As an additional point I spoke to the company I was returning the parcel too and they told me that they knew the PO Box creates problems. I checked their web site and it doesn't say that. I informed them of this and that had they stated PO Box problems on their web site all of this problem could have been avoided. As a gesture of good will and accepting no responsibility they refund me half of the cost of the parcel.0 -
So you accepted half the price as settlement?0
