If you earn more than £123/week you are not entitled to receive Carer's Allowance. https://www.gov.uak/carers-allowance/eligibility

If you no longer receive Carer's Allowance you will no longer be entitled to the carer premium in your ESA. Overall you will lose £36.85/week if this happens.

For ESA you are entitled to work provided it is for less than 16 hours per work and provided you do not earn more than £131.50/week. If you breach either of these limits your entitlement to ESA ends. Work within these limits is known as 'permitted work' DWP should be informed before starting the work.

7 hours or 12 hours at minimum wage should be fine.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Just so the OP is aware, this would only apply if they are the main claimant of the ESA claim. If it's a couples claim and they are not the main claimant then the maximum amount they could earn would be £20 per week.

Are you still in the assessment period for your ESA or have you been put into a group?
Look at your award letter and tell us the breakdown.

This includes the carers premium amount of £36.85. It doesn't state which group. If your claim for ESA started after April 2017 then you could be in the WRAG, if you're not sending in fit notes from your GP. If you're sending in fit notes then you'll be on assessment rate.
Calotti's advice in post #2 is correct.

That's not correct. If your claim started after April 2017 then you will be in the WRAG and not on assessment rate. For claims after this date in this group then your money will be the same as assessment rate.
