If you earn more than £123/week you are not entitled to receive Carer's Allowance. https://www.gov.uak/carers-allowance/eligibility
If you no longer receive Carer's Allowance you will no longer be entitled to the carer premium in your ESA. Overall you will lose £36.85/week if this happens.
For ESA you are entitled to work provided it is for less than 16 hours per work and provided you do not earn more than £131.50/week. If you breach either of these limits your entitlement to ESA ends. Work within these limits is known as 'permitted work' DWP should be informed before starting the work.

7 hours or 12 hours at minimum wage should be fine.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.2 -

I am the main carer as im a single parent.im not sure i get a carers premium, i receive about £43 a week esa.well i actually only get £9 of it as the rest pays off a budgeting loan0

Are you still in the assessment period for your ESA or have you been put into a group?
Look at your award letter and tell us the breakdown.

Im not sure what group im in. It doesnt say but ive took a photo of the breakdown. I should also mention im getting tax credits/child benefit for my daughter (its who i care for) But they will stop next week as she turns 20. Shes at college so ive been able to claim.i know my money will drop a huge amount because of this and thats why i have applied for a job0

Newnew said:This includes the carers premium amount of £36.85. It doesn't state which group. If your claim for ESA started after April 2017 then you could be in the WRAG, if you're not sending in fit notes from your GP. If you're sending in fit notes then you'll be on assessment rate.Calotti's advice in post #2 is correct.1
