Small Claims Court
Options
I couldn’t find the right category so I hope this gets to people who can help me please! After reaching a dead end with my bank after I mistakenly sent money to an incorrect sort-code, I want to pursue a legal claim. However the recipient’s bank is not releasing their details so I can serve the claim. How on earth can I pursue this if I only have sort-code and account number? Any help very much appreciated as it has been so stressful, thanks all

You might need to take the bank to court if you can't get the details using the financial ombudsman or FCA.0

To start with make a complaint using Resolver (resolver.co.uk) recommended by Martin Lewis and I have used it in the past with success. Visit the website enter your bank name and go from there. The resolver website has many useful tips for a successful claim0
