You posted  -  "This is in regards to a payment ticket having expired."

Can you expand on the parking event i.e. type of car park, amount of overstay etc.
The car park is just a peice of land in Leicester City centre, and it apparently it was an overstay of no more than 15minutes.
So look up the January 2018 BPA CoP , clause 13 and use grace periods as part of the defence

The sign is worthless because it doesn't set out what the "parking conditions" are; also, I can't see any mention of whom the PPC is.

    Indeed
Is that the ONLY sign? If so there cannot possibly be a contract with the PPC, as they are not identified on the sign.

I havnt had chance to go into the city recently and check for other signs. I work and study and have a 1yr old baby! However I did recieve SAR from OPS, they just have a photo of my vehicle going into a car park and leaving, there doesn't seem to be any evidence of a parking ticket expiring! This has to be a good thing right?

CEC16 is also quoted in saying "My defence is really only that I know nothing about it".
    Woah, no he did NOT!!
CEC16 was Mr Crosby and I was the lay rep.

You really need to read that transcript again if you think Mr Crosby said that.  The bystander/passenger other Defendant (who I will not name here, partly due to his terrible stance on parking charges!) said that and we stifled a laugh...

Are you in Brighton/Worthing/Lewes and which car park is this OPS one about?

Also I just posted a new defence template today - PLEASE download and use it, test it.  Please!  see the thread I started today.

Slow down and read the Southampton transcript properly, ignoring everything the 'other Defendant' bystander said.  You can also ignore EVERYTHING at the start before the 'short adjournment'.

OK, please test the new defence template that includes 3 Appendices - the aim this year is to get more Judges to start striking claims out without a hearing.

Hi JimsDay. I have the exact problem you have with that same car park, same company and solicitors however I've got a feeling mine is to do with wrong vehicle registration number entered (maybe a digit wrong). I haven't asked for SAR yet but will do. I am now also drafting my defence. I just read Coupon-Mad defence template and it looks really good and will also use it. Could you upload your defence and ill do the same once drafted?.
