Already used Help to Buy ISA. Is my Lifetime ISA still valid?

I completed on my property as a first-time buyer back in July 2016 and 'used' my Help to Buy ISA then. Since then I have set-up a Lifetime ISA (with Moneybox) and have been depositing money into this account on a monthly basis. As I have already utilised the Help to Buy ISA, is my Lifetime ISA still valid? Given that I was able to set-up the account, I assume I can but am concerned that it is not actually valid and I should be putting my money elsewhere.

Your LISA is valid if you opened it when you were under 40 years of age. You may continue to save into it and may access it penalty free when you reach age 60.1
