I learned about the reduction quite a while back via the MSE forums where I learn about everything to do with financial matters!
MSE forums are like a ticker-tape system linked to the markets

I have two of these accounts and I was also quite surprised to see the interest rate drop this month.

I don't recall seeing an Email informing me of the rate drop. It's the sort of thing I look out for and take note of. Can't find anything in my deleted folder either.

I still have the e-mail as shown earlier.  Dated 17 February 2020.  The subject heading is 'Your Interest Rate is Changing' and all details are clearly set out.

Same here. I checked emails and junk folder etc, nothing. Maybe some customers were not notified. It wouldn't be the first time TSB have had IT issues
