Leasehold wouldn't get me in the door no matter how well presented.. from the map view you seem to be on the main road out but not sure how accurate the pin is .0

Is bedroom 3 a bit small, the description says:
"Bedroom Three (0' 0'' x 7' 0'' (0m x 2.13m))"
No floor plan.
Photos fine.

Ashdav said:Hello, our house has now been on the market for 4 weeks and we have not had a single viewing. Our Zoopla viewing figures are now at 900 but nothing. The property is on at a reasonable price- in line with others in the area. The estate agent tells us to be patient but we are starting to feel disheartened. Do we need to relax or is realistically the only answer to reduce price?
ThanksThe house sold for 165k in August 2018. Looking purely at how sold prices have moved in the NE5 post-code from August 2018 to Nov 2019 (couldn't find a website that collates more recent data than that)- On average, the sold price of a semi has dropped by 5%.- Looking at the median, the sold price of a semi has dropped by 8%.See data below.Disclaimers:
- Just to be clear, this is not to definitively say that your house is overpriced (as there is always a local micro market that could vary significantly from the average) but that it could well be.- Also, the number of houses sold over a period of 16 months might also be too small to make to make these statistics meaningful.

I have to say i have recently been searching for properties just over the river in Blaydon/Whickham for similar styles and price range. Speaking personally i would have moved straight past this one as soon as i saw leasehold, is this definitely correct? It's the first property around here of that sort of age that i've come across that's not freehold2

Hi we moved from chapel park last year. I just wanted to say leasehold won’t be your issue it’s completely normal I’d be surprised if you can find a freehold house anywhere near but your ground rent is about a tenner if I recall from houses we looked at? I’d get that mentioned in your ad because although it is completely normal I think people are running scared! Also put in that there’s no management charges/ all adopted by council etc.I’d say you’re priced about right but you need your measurements sorted and I’d say a floor plan too. Problem will be all the new builds down stamfordham road, north Walbottle and particularly the planning for middle school field who will have access down your road. I think it might just be a bad time.Edited to add: NE5 covers a very large area and different parts are completely unrelated to each other and I don’t think can be compared together.3

Thanks for feedback. Yes practically all
houses in the area are leasehold, 999yrs+ the ground rent is £20 per year. We have someone booked into sort out floorplans nxt week, as this is also important to me. Since buying the house we have installed central heating and a new kitchen, as well as many other updates ( new bannister, new flooring throughout).0 -
Also yes there are around 3000 newbuilds being built just down the road. I thought high newbuild prices and small rooms would put ppl off...apparently not haha0
