Car Hire USA San Francisco to Las Vegas

Hi,
We are looking to hire a car in September for part of our USA trip.
We would be picking up in San Francisco and dropping off as Las Vegas airport.
From reading around I understand we are best to book using a UK site to ensure all insurance is included. Not sure if we would be best off getting a quote direct from a few car hire companies or through a 3rd party.
Can anyone recommend who is best to book with?
Any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Just book the cheapest. Kayak tends to be the best site for quotes. There never used to be one way fees between California and Law Vegas but not sure if this is still the case.
