Hi
If my original (EU) flight was cancelled due to bad weather (no compensation due)
AND
My replacement (EU) flight 3 days later was also delayed by 2hrs & 8mins due to mechanical failure (compensation due)
Would the delay from my cancelled flight combine with the the delay on my replacement flight and entitle me to claim €400 (£340) compensation instead of just claiming expenses?
Thanks, Will

  • Firstly put your cancelled flight details into euclaim and bottonline and makes sure you are not due compensation. Why was your replacement date 3 days later?. The airline should have re-routed you either that day or at most the following day with another airline if necessary and if they didn't you could have re-routed yourself and sent them the bill. You cannot add the cancelled flight to your replacement flight, You will only be due compensation if your replacement flight arrived at its destination over 3 hours late. I think you are looking at re-routed flights for the lesser amount.
