Just a bill with no details of what it relates to?

    Who is your actual supplier?

You say you have never been an Eversmart customer, but have you ever been a Utilita one?

Is there a customer number on the ficticious bill and does it look anything like the one from your current supplier?
My current supplier is Co-op Energy, which they transferred over to Octopus late last year, but the Eversmart bill covers dates I was being billed by Co-op, prior to the Octopus switch. It does have an account number, nothing like my Co-op or Octopus one. Where they got me from is a total mystery. Never been an Eversmart or Utilita customer. Bit weird.

I switched from Eversmart just a few days before they went into administration. I calculated that I owed them a small amount, less than £20. Since then I have never been contacted by Utilita or the administators in pursuit of the balance. I had presumed that they had written off any debt below £x.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
