Thinking about changing our bathroom suite and I just wondered if anyone has any idea roughly how much the labour charge would be to remove existing bath, shower enclosure, toilet and basin and replace with new.  Would we be talking hundreds or thousands?

This would be labour only, as we would purchase the replacement.

couple of thousand rough guess £40ph-£320pday (8hrs) 5 days-£1600 and thats a cheap estimate, there's always remedial work tiling, plasterboard etc.

We are just having our bathroom done, ball park figure £5000 for everything. Includes tiles, suite, taps, flooring. Shower.
I'm having a plumber to do the removal and fitting and a handyman to tile, plaster and floor.

If its just swapping i don't see why it should take more than 2/3 days.

Just swapping usually means retiling and new floor.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Many people seem to think that the new units will simply slot in to the space vacated by the old suite, and that there will be no damage to tiles etc during removal.  That is rarely the case.  Unless there is a supply of spare tiles which match the existing it's a cost which needs to be factored in.
