Hi everyone, I hope I have done this right (made a new thread).I sent my esa50 and evidence back and it was received on 3rd January at Maximus (this is for reassessment). I rang again today as I had not heard. The man who took my call told me they had been waiting for information from the DWP which they had now received on the 13th of February and that they were making a decision as to whether to call me in for a F2F or not. My question is: what information could they be wanting from the dwp? I thought that the process was that Maximus made their decision and then told the DWP that decision - but he said they had been waiting to hear from the DWP for more information. Anyone got any idea what information this could be? I thought Maximus had all they needed to make a decision? (I have been in support group for 5 years and before that on IB). Please can you throw any light on this? Many thanks!

Payment is made on a Saturday because your bank chooses for you to receive the funds earlier than you should. Some banks stopped this quite sometime ago. As your usual payment day isn't until Monday, if you don't receive it then you'll need to ring DWP and ask why.

Many thanks!Starting your own thread is always better, rather than asking the question on someone else's because people read the first question and answer that which then causes confusion. The Health Assessment Advisory service, which do the work capability assessments do not make decisions, they make recommendations by sending a completed report to DWP. Once that's received a decision maker then looks at that and all the evidence and makes a decision. We could only guess what information they needed from DWP and no one can tell you that. Hopefully it won't be too long before you'll hear something either way. Most people do have face to face assessments so expect one of those and if it's not needed then it's a bonus.0
