What's the best £1 you've ever spent?

Hello! MSE Becky here.
I've recently spent £1 on this milk frother for my coffee. I believe it's the best £1 I've ever spent.

I'm writing a blog and wondered what would you say is your best £1 spending?

I think we all know what FROTH looks like - shouldn't you have posted a photo of the frother?

i agree with the 2 posters above - it would be good to see a photo of the frother rather than the effect it's created as well as info on where this bargain came from.

I can't recall the best £1.00 I've ever spent but it probably came from a charity shop.
A 50% cashmere/50% silk scarf still with tag (RRP about £50.00) comes to mind. I gifted it to my friend who was very impressed. :)
    But lots of similar purchases.

It was 1970 and I offered to buy a coffee for a girl who had missed a train at Paddington. Two cups of coffee at 50p each.
We have been married for 45 years and have 3 great kids!

50p in 1970 was a lot of money.
In that year I had just left school and was earning £7 8 shillings and 5d (I've forgotten how we used to write it - maybe £7/8/5)  a week. And that was in a decent job.
    But a lovely story. <3
