@Umkomaas Thank you, very kind. I'd like to try help where I can but very aware of the limits of my knowledge at the moment.
OP- it's occurred to me that you're worried about not submitting your docs within 14 days, but have the PPC submitted THEIR docs including a copy to you? Their WS often has pics of the signs that were allegedly (NB allegedly) there at the time. This would still allow you to comment on things like the size of the font, number of words etc. Although the ideal would be getting your own pics of these in situ, i think there's still some evaluating you can do to help support your arguments.2 -
You know what, when I first started helping here I knew the square root of f*ck all about private parking. I hadn't even had a ticket (nor since), but ParkingEye had messed with one of mine which caused me to 'become interested' and even though they managed to extract nothing, I've repaid them in thousands in lost revenue for their troubles in trying.Ferrybird said:@Umkomaas Thank you, very kind. Now 7.5 years on, we've got to the Sir Greg Knight Act and the days of the venal and rapacious PPC are hopefully numbered. I feel I've made some contribution to that. 😊Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I expect that several of us have. I hope that not only have we made the pay though the nose, but also that we have besmitched them in the eyes of judges.

Do you think that many Judges enjoy a good 'besmitching'. 😮😄D_P_Dance said:I've repaid them in thousands in lost revenue for their troubles in trying

Mine started with Excel sc#mming my youngest son at Ashton retail park , where the landowner contract stated the first hour was free and the signage did not reflect the true terms , won at Popla on appeal !! Then Parking Eye tried an overstay PCN at a different local retail park by my SIL , receipts were produced for patronage of all stores visited and a complaint made to BHS where the ladies had lunch on site , PCN cancelled , then JAS Parking tried it on at b &m in Stockport with a friend of mine , beaten at Popla
The veils fell from my eyes and despite never having a private PCN or court case myself , like Umkomaas I stayed here as my feet were under this forum table. I am sure many others have similar tales to tell but I know for a fact that myself and others here have cost the sc#mmers thousands as retribution for their greedy underhand tactics perpetrated on unsuspecting victims out spending their money or sat at home or on holiday abroad etc
To me , it's only fair when it's clear the victim was billing or flouting the rules etc , like when people leave their vehicles on supermarket or hospital car parks and go to work all day , just because it is selfishly convenient for them !! Or bilking the system like blatant non payment
All these petty rules they try to catch people out with , especially time limits like supermarkets or MSA,s , or keying errors or similar , don't wash with me at all. I am also amazed by the captive audience issues of tenants of leaseholders versus parking companies who are treated as lambs to the slaughter , usually made worse by incompetent management companies or similar
The new rules and CoP cannot come quick enough !! ( After over 7 years here )6 -
As a founder member of WHICH, way back, when a pint of John Courage cost less than half a crown, I have been fighting such scams for over half a century. My first involvement with parking scammers was when they started ticketing The Memsahib.

Hello is there any new advice for cases using the video link for hearings? I have a hearing this week and the legal team has sent another supplementary witness statement. Should i react to the statement?
