AOS sent in time, no response but got a judgment for claimant

It doesn't appear to be the issue that it wasn't received, the issue is that a defence wasn't filed in time.twhitehousescat said:0 -
Madagent - if you didnt file a defence within 33 days of the court claim form, then you failed. AoS simply is you telling the court you got the claim form, you are still under the instruciton to file a defence
Pay up within 1 month, ensure the CCBC gets a copy of your receipt, or you will have 6 years of credit issues.0 -
Thank you all for your time and answers. I have called the court and clarify for me. The problem was that it was my first fine ever and I was desperate to contest it as missed the part with sending the defense. I did prepare it but I was waiting to be called in court to present my defense didnt read that I need to send it there. My mistake...I did paid it now as obviously I already received o notice of recovery. Now because I dont want to miss next part...how do I inform the Court that I paid it? By letter, email, there is a form? Thank you0

If you have paid up within one month as nosferatu1001 states above, then get a receipt from the PPC and write to the court with a copy of that receipt. The PPCs are supposed to inform the court but who would trust them to do that?1

As above. Just send them a letter with a COPY of the receipt.
Next time, read the forms *carefully* - it is *explicit* that you are required to serve your defence1
