I'd make it much more succinct and far less polite. 'Offer rejected, either issue proceedings to enable a Judge (or a Magistrate as byelaws apply at EMA) to resolve the issue, or cease and desist with any furthering of your spurious claim.  I enclose my current 'Costs Schedule Assessment' for my work to date in dealing with this, the quantum of which will increase the longer this goes on'.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

OK thanks for the feedback.  I've not yet created a cost assessment - i guess there is a post in this forum on how to do one?
Edit: @Umkomaas as per your signature - teach me to fish - why is a succinct letter preferable?

Yep, it's in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post. £19 per hour litigant-in-person rate (not like some of the budding Perry Masons who come here from time to time stating £500 per letter!).

Easy. The more concise the letter, the more impactful it is, and the less they can twist against you.
