Iberia flights cannot manage booking online

I wonder if anyone could help please. We have booked with Iberia flights (british airways on tickets) from London City to Ibiza leaving this friday When I booked I thought we'd save money by just taking hand luggage but now realise we need to take a suitcase! Have tried managing booking online but there's no way to add luggage, it say the flight isn't available for online check in. I've rang Iberia and they told me to go onto BA website and manage the booking in there but they just direct me to Iberia website. Im assuming we will just check it in and pay at the airport but don't want to by paying over the odds by doing that if can be avoided! TIA

I haven't done it with BA/Iberia, but I have seen similar set ups where there are two PNRs associated with the booking, one for each airline. If you have the BA one, you need to find the Iberia one and use it on their website to make any changes. If you can't see it on the BA website or your confirmation details, then calll BA and they should be able to give you it.

Have you tried going to iberia.com and putting in your BA booking reference and seeing if you can buy a bag that way.I am a Travel Agent
My company’s ATOL number is 7227. MSE doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it. ATOL numbers can be checked with the Civil Aviation Authority. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0 -

Exactly this. You need the BA PNR to manage you booking on the BA site and the Iberia PNR on the Iberia site. Normally both are given on the documentation. Look for six or seven alphanumeric characters.1
