wreths are the best bit of christmas imo. Mine goes out xmas eve and usually come back in after boxing day. I have yet to make my own though i tend to stick with my brought one with a snowman sat in the middle.0

I'm reviving an old thread to ask whether anyone has an easy-ish method for making a christmas wreath. I feel like having a go at making my own, but it's not something I've done before and would appreciate any hints or tips that you might have. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

A wreath that I have been tempted to try is a rag wreath, you can see an example of how to make one here:

You basically take a sturdy ring (cut from cardboard, made from wire, embroidery hoop for example) and tie strips of fabric to it, simple but very effective.tying hard to cut down grocery shop bill...0 -

That's really interesting. And the plus with this of course is you can re-use it
I guess you could still add things like seed pods or pine cones to this and it would look natural and last a long time too. 4 May 2010
