O2 travel query

Hi all

this is probably a very simple answer but I just need to clarify.

I’m travelling to Iceland for 4 days. How does O2 travel work? From what I’ve read it looks you just text a number and then you’re good to go, and don’t get changed anymore than on your ‘normal’ uk plan. I’m on a monthly contract FYI. 

It just seems odd that there’s no extra changes when you go abroad in Europe?

Europe roaming is still free.

O2 travel only kicks in when you use it in applicable countries

It's a regulation in favour of consumers imposed by the EU a few years ago, and for the time being at least still in effect for UK networks.
