Oh by the way, it's bizarre to expect people to scroll down and read the quote and then back up again to read the query/answer.

Old thread but occasionally I do it as quote below.

Usually I've typed my reply, had another look at the question (s), clocked it's the 1st or 2nd post made by OP, then I hit quote. Some people go back through their posts when they get answers, or don't get ones they like, and delete all their comments, making the thread no use for anyone in the same situation looking for info.
