Sky mobile - dubious credit rating
Hello, I hope someone can help me. I had to declare bankruptcy almost 6 years ago after leaving an abusive relationship and ending up in a women's refuge for several months. Fast forward to now and I have managed not to miss a single payment to my credit card, although a little high after Christmas. I am SO eager to get pass the 6 year mark and get that off my record. I've been holding on to my old phone as I'd love to get something better and on contract. It's totally broken today, which is so frustrating as I am literally two months away from the 6 year mark.
I can't not have a mobile, as my children is in school and I need to be contactable. I wonder if it would be worth applying to Sky? My credit rating on Equifax states 'fair'.(401) On the other two agencies I've seen today there are still some discrepancies which I'll get taken off asap, but it shows as 'poor'. I have been with Sky for 6 years, recently upgraded to a different broadband package with no problem. I am wondering if it is worth applying to them for a contract, or if it will hurt my credit rating badly if I get turned down? Any advice would be appreciated.

You don't have a credit rating to be hurt. If you apply, only a search will appear on your files. Anything that the pretend credit ratings do as a result can be ignored.0
