BroadBand monthly charge increase

Hi. I'm about halfway through a fixed cost per month BroadBand and phone contract with EE. They've recently emailed to say they are putting the monthly charge up. Not by much but as it's supposed to be 'fixed monthly charge' can they actually do this? How do I challenge this?

There's this near the bottom of this page on EE's website:
"The price of your monthly plan will increase each April based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published in January. Annual price increase based on the full price of your plan. Please note the cost of additional services you take from us may increase or decrease while you’re an EE customer."0
