It isn't the amount of time you have been here @Muryas it is the amount of content you have added. 

You will need to post (in any section of the MSE forum, not just the comping section) between 10-20 posts/comments on actual topics (no unnecessary bumping or spamming) to be able to access the edit button for your posts and to be able to post full links. 

This is to help reduce self promotion and spamming.

As had been said on several replies, you need to have made a (unspecified) number of posts before you can post links.

The best way to get your posts up is to go to the I WON section and give a few congratulations

It's not a pain.
There is a reason why MSE don't allow me users/posters with only a few posts to post links.
And... for the record, any spam posts advertising businesses are quickly reported by the community. And deleted.

I see you have already found the answer and created a thread, edited it and posted a working link even though you have only made 6 posts. Must be something to do with being a member since 2007.
Most people have to make many more posts before being able to Edit or post links but you can create a thread with your first post.
