Please remember that if you have any links to the comps, they are not allowed to be posted. Another tip for posting is to always do a search before to make sure it hasn’t already been posted as the comps board is very fast moving. Please also include expiry dates too. ie E: 21/06 win a etc etc
You can post now and a member will always come along and post the link for you, it’s easier to post like this w w w . Money saving expert . Com until you can post links.

It’s not about how long you have been a member, if you keep posting and persevere, you will soon be able to post links x

A number of reasons but primarily it makes it nice and easy for others to link immediately to the competition, particularly for mobile device users where cut and paste can be a real pain. Also, MSE will not allow you to type a full URL if you are not eligible and so you would have to put in spaces which again is really inconvenient for others. A number of compers are not technically savvy and cutting and pasting is not native to them. So in general  it makes the MSE forum a friendlier place, and once you have posted sufficiently you will become eligible to post links. In the meantime, others are quite happy and willing to post the links for you if you indicate where the comps can be found.
  • I think as long as you're posting, commenting and helping others your ability to link with urls will be lifted. They just don't want spamming, totally understandable.

You need to invest more time in helping and commenting others first.. I'm guessing you would like to post a link/url ?

Lots of new users are eager to post links to advertise either their business or a friend's.
These usually get zapped pretty quickly by the community using the 'spam' button.
There's a long running spam thread where various people post user profiles that are spamming/advertising.
