Sainsburys "Plastic" Plants

Has anyone else been taken in by the Sainsburys range of "plastic" plants that nowhere say they are plastic?

No, haven't seen them, but if they're as good as the ones in our house, they might be better than real ones, which often get bugs and/or die on us. The ubiquitous poinsettia, which usually turns up as an unwanted gift at Christmas is a good example of a wasteful indoor plant.

Never seen the Sainsbury ones but I sometimes find myself double checking the flowers on tables in cafes & the like, some, like freesias, are indistinguishable without first touching them

All a far cry from the "free" Daz plastic roses given away in the early 60s with every packet of Daz

My BF bought some to put on their outside coffee table, her husband watered them every day for a week before he noticed! 🤪
