Compensation for lack of landline

It looks like I will be without a landline for two weeks of not a bit more. What sort of compensation should I ask for from plusnet? No phone, no internet? Problem occurred while they were laying fibre to a cabinet, not to the one I am connected to I hasten to add!

Divide monthly rate by 31 and multiply by 14. That's what you are owed.1

You may be in luck. Ofcom introduced an automatic compensation scheme in April 2019 which pays £8 a day. At first Plusnet did not sign up to the scheme so ring them to see if they have joined.0
