Sky Haggling

Options
Current with sky, my broadband cost is due to jump at the end of this month. Previously always had plenty of success haggling with them but this time I'm stuck at a £25 a month offer for 67mb or the same deal with talk talk for £22 a month and sky unwilling to budge. Are they more difficult to deal with lately or is this just the best deal?

£25-£27 pm retention for Superfast fibre and line rental sounds about right from Sky.  I presume it is for 18 months (not 12 months) contract.  ie. same as what new customer pays.

Possibly only way to persuade Sky to offer better deal would be to place an order another ISP. Sky may then be more willing to offer a better discount when they receive a migration request from other ISP, because Sky realise you are serious about leaving them.

It's the same with other ISPs such as BT.

Note that Sky are likely to announce price rise later this month with effect from 1st April, if history is repeated.
