    If you decide to go for the lock change, it's worth bearing in mind that you can sometimes swap the barrel of the front door lock with the barrel of the back door lock, if they're the same kind. 

    Definitely sort it now. Insurance may well be invalidated.

    Definitely ignore her. Don't give any attention. She may have copied the key anyway so just change it. As above, you may be able to simply change the barrel. Easy. Videos on YouTube.
