Travel insurance with medical conditions .

WE have a Nationwide Flexplus account that provides WW Travel Insurance for both of us as a benefit. Because of age and minor pre-existing medical conditions I have to pay a Travel Insurance upgrade of £194 per year to UK Insurance as part of the Nationwide policy conditions. As it is unlikely we will travel until next year can I let the upgrade lapse and start the upgrade contract again with UK Insurance whenever travel is sensible??0

We also have this policy, my husbands upgrade is £280 but as we have a holiday booked for May 2021 I guess we will have to just pay it, we do get breakdown cover inc and phone ins but I really can't be bothered to shop around.....
